SSI PolySol EM

SSI Polsysol-EM is higher solid and active content polyvinyl acetate emulsion without plasticizer which gives excellent body and stiffness to the fabric. SSI Polsysol EM is suitable for all types of fabrics.


Typical Characteristics


  • Appearance : Milky white paste
  • Chemical Nature : Polyvinyal acetae emulsion
  • Solid Contents : 49 + 1% (For SSI EM 2001) 40 + 1 % (For SSI EM 1040)(105° C-1 hr)
  • pH : Weakly Acidic
  • Ionic Nature : Non Ionic
  • Average particle size : 0.5 2.0 microns
  • Solubility in water : Good
  • Viscosity @ 30 + 20 C : 300 400 poise on RVT model-spl-6@20rpm
  • Stability : Good

Method of Application

Normally applied by padding method at a temp. from 30° C to 60° C and drying is done on stenter at high temperature around 170 180° C.
SSI PolySol FB

Plasticized polyvinyl acetate emulsion which imparts lustre to the fabric. Most suitable for finishing of sarees which requires FALL finish.

  • Solid Contents : 49 + 1% (For SSI FB 5300)(105° C-1 hr)
  • pH : Weakly Acidic
  • Ionic Nature : Non Ionic

  • Solubility in water : Good
  • Viscosity @ 30 + 20 C : 30 80 poise on RVT model-spl-4@20rpm
  • Stability : Good

Method of Application

Normally applied by padding method at a temp. from 30 - 60° C and drying is done on stenter at high temperature around 170 180° C.

Storage

Do not store above 40° C or in direct sunlight. Always keep the container closed after each withdrawal of material.
SSI PolySol MBX

Improvised polyvinyl acetate co-polymer emulsion which imparts excellent durable body with soft handle and lustre to the fabric. SSI MBX 5400/5500 are suitable for all types of Fabrics.

  • Solid Contents : 55 + 1% (For SSI MBX 5500) 50 + 1 % (For SSI MBX 5400)(105° C-1 hr)

  • Ionic Nature : Non Ionic
  • Average particle size : 0.5 2.0 microns
  • Solubility in water : Good
  • Viscosity @ 30 + 20 C : 30 80 poise on RVT model-spl-4@20rpm
